Prolonged high levels of glucose in the blood inside the body can damage organs – including the heart, kidneys and urinary tract – for example. If you are diagnosed with symptoms of blood sugar – high, moderate or severe, you should take all necessary measures to prevent the permanent damage to your body and reduce the amount of glucose present in the blood.
