Causes of High Blood Sugar, High Blood Sugar Causes
What causes high blood sugar?
The main cause for high blood sugar is the excess intake of sugar for a long period. This excess sugar causes the body to produce lots of insulin. This overload of insulin damages the cell receptors and is unable to send the sugar to the tissues. When the cell becomes insulin resistant there is excess sugar found in the blood. According to researchers, too many refined foods that contain fatty acids can also cause high blood sugar. Nutritional deficiencies like pH, vitamin A and several other minerals develop the cells to be insulin resistant. Stress can also raise the level of blood sugar in the body.
